After Hours Coordinator

Calvary Riverina is seeking applications for the position of a permanent part time After Hours Coordinator to join our team of health care professionals.

The primary focus of this position is after hours management of the planning, organisation and utilisation of human resources, and allocation of patient admissions in consultation with ward staff.

The successful applicant must demonstrate proven management skills, sound clinical knowledge and the ability to promote and monitor safe, effective and efficient patient care and utilisation of resources.

Essential Criteria:

·         Registration with APHRA, holding a current practising certificate, and with a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience as a Registered Nurse

·         Demonstrate advanced interpersonal and organisational skills and a high level of analytical, communication and reporting capability

·         Demonstrate effective and positive working relationships with medical practitioners, managers, nursing and administrative services personnel

·         Demonstrate commitment to excellence in customer service and continuous quality improvement.

·         Commitment to promoting the Mission and Values of the Little Company of Mary with patient-centred quality care as the primary focus of service.
